We are looking for feedback!! One of the issues we have been discussing for integration for Cat-M1 is how to handle application setup. Since, Cat-M1 is really an IP service, the sensor can send data directly to the sensor. This works easily for upstream, but is not as good for downstream. If you are combining data from both a Cat-M1 and LoRa sensor of similar type, you would provision the Cat-M1 sensor to send it’s data to the LPWAN Server, and the data would be combined with LoRa sensor data for sending upstream to the application. For the downstream scenario, should the LPWAN server act as a meet-point server, or should it act as a queuing server for the Cat-M1 device to query for downstream actions. Depending on the answer will result in how we develop this further.
